A Reserve Engineer Section of 35 men was formed during the week ending 11th December when the weekly parade etate showed a total of 376 (Table 2). The Engineer Section were placed under the orders of the U. C. the ngineer Company of

the Volunteer Corps.

A considerable number of exemptions had been granted after mobilization and these are withdrawn during the week ending 18th December for the reason that the duties required of the ren were then much lighter than they had been up to that time. The weekly parade state for this date is aprended

as (Table 3).

(Table 4) gives the strength at 31st March as 365.
